Meet Stephen Khachikian, MD

Board Certified Ophthalmologist

Dr. Khachikian is a board-certified ophthalmologist, specializing in cataract surgery, lens implantation, corneal surgery and refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK, and refractive lens exchange. Dr. K obtained his Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with honors from Siena College in Upstate New York, before pursuing medical school at Albany Medical College. He continued his medical career in Albany completing his Ophthalmology Residency and Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Khachikian has performed extensive clinical research in the areas of keratoconus, corneal topography, and endothelial keratoplasty. In addition, he has authored numerous articles and textbook chapters detailing corneal and cataract surgery. Dr. Khachikian is actively involved in clinical research trials, offering advanced technologies and therapies to patients. In addition, he utilizes the LenSx Laser and ORA system to offer patients the best outcomes. Many of his surgeries can be found below, as well as on his YouTube Channel.
